South Devon Optical is a wholesale optical lens company established to offer a friendly and personal service to discerning opticians throughout the whole of the UK.
As a family run business, we have been meeting the needs of opticians for over 40 years, and pride ourselves on giving professional, high quality products and levels of service to all our opticians and clients.

South Devon Optical has been a Varilux Specialist Lab for many years and now our reputation has been further enhanced after we were recently welcomed into the Essilor Partner Lab program.
Partner Plus is a new and improved program that has some fantastic benefits and replaces the Varilux Specialist Optician scheme which is now discontinued. Partner Plus enables you to receive free marketing support, CET training, exclusive promotions and much more. Glazing Lab Software
We have glazing lab software which enables us to make the best possible cosmetic lens for each frame and our glazing workshop uses the latest Nidek glazing machines for a super high quality lens finish.
We are extremely proud of our rimless glazing, and we use a Nidek Multifunction Edger, which ensures consistent results with every job.
Turnaround Time
Our aim at South Devon Optical is to produce finished spectacles to the highest possible standard, ensuring a quality product and service. We’ll also do our very best to turnaround any order in as little time as possible!
